A collection of gems of lieder by soprano Katharina Konradi, born in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan in 1988 and winner of the renowned German Music Competition (Deutscher Musikwettbewerb) prize in 2016. She has been part of the ensemble of the Hamburg State Opera since the beginning of the 2018/19 season, covering key roles for the Lyric Soprano. The album is entitled Liebende and features a selection of songs about love and love from the works of Mozart, Schubert, and Richard Strauss, which are central to the German Lieder repertoire and extremely important for singers around the world. It is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy her beautifully extended voice and the artistry of Lieder. Tokyo M-Plus
