The 15th concert of the "Pleyel Museum's Secret Concerts" series is a joint project with the concerts organized by the International Ignatz Josef Pleyel Society (IPG), which was founded in 1995. String Quintets". Pleyel's string quintets have been largely neglected due to the lack of extant scores or reprints. However, the International Ignatz Josef Pleyel Society has attempted to restore 17 of his string quintets. Pleyel's string quintets are in the Viennese tradition, as are those of Hofmeister, Krommer, and Vranitzky, and three of them are included on this album. Tokyo M-Plus
