This is a collection of works for violin and orchestra composed by Henri Wuertin, all 11 of which are world premiere recordings. Although some of this repertoire has been published in the past, it has usually been arranged for violin and piano, where it is easier to perform. This recording features five promising violinists between the ages of 13 and 24, who are accompanied by the Fochtland Philharmonic Orchestra, whose principal conductor is Djimon Edelman, a young conductor born in 1994, who introduces the unknown world of Wu-Tang's works.
