Debut album by Anastasiya Dranchuk! This is Anastasiya Dranchuk's debut album. The program includes technical works by Tchaikovsky, Saï, Schubert, and Liszt. The album, entitled "A Rite of Passage," represents the transition from childhood to adulthood, from peace to war, and from birth to death. The performance is so majestic that it is hard to believe that this is a debut album, and the variety of expression that emerges from the delicate touch of the musicians is a delight to behold. Anastasiya Dranchuk was born in 1989 in Kazakhstan (then Soviet Union) to a family of musicians. She has won the Bronze Medal and the Special Jury Prize at the Horowitz International Competition in Kiew, the First Prize and the Audience & Classical Prize at the Steinway Competition in Berlin, and the First Prize in the piano category at the German national competition for children and adolescents "Jugend musiziert". In 2007, she was awarded the "Goldener Julius Junior Young Talent" at the Berlin Capital Prize. Tokyo M-Plus
