Tremor" is about the Lisbon earthquake of 1755, which devastated the Portuguese capital. Nuno Corte Real, born in 1971, is considered one of the most important contemporary composers in Portugal. His work aims to free contemporary music from its closed nature and to activate it by bringing it closer to other sound worlds. For this reason, he actively incorporates elements of other types of music, such as jazz and pop, and his current work vividly depicts his own unique worldview. Tokyo M-Plus
