The piano duo of Vilja Poskute and Thomas Daukantas was formed in 2000. In 2005, they won the ARD Competition, organized by the German Public Broadcasting Association and considered a stepping stone to success for German musicians, and in 2011, they also won the International Grieg Competition held in Oslo, Norway. This is the third installment in a series featuring numerous world-premiere recordings of works by Saint-Saëns. The piano duo brings to life the delicate and beautiful aesthetic of Saint-Saëns, who left a significant mark on the history of French music. Tokyo M Plus
