Bulgarian-born pianist Donka Angacheva made her soloist debut at the age of 10 with the Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra. She studied under Heinz Medimorek at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, and has won numerous top prizes at international competitions, including second prize at the 8th Salerno International Piano Competition (Italy). He has been highly acclaimed by critics in Austria and Switzerland as "a sensitive musician with excellent technique and astonishing expressive power who is creating a whirlwind on the piano.
