Born in 1991 of German-Greek descent, elite pianist Danae Derken was recognized by Yehudi Menuhin at the age of 7 for her talent. This is a collection of Janacek's works performed by a new generation of artists who have built up an international reputation through publications such as Crescendo, a Swiss music magazine, and Concerti Magazine in Germany. The "On the Shady Path" was composed as a lament for his daughter who died young and uses a Slavic folk melody, and the "Piano Sonata" reflects his lament and denial for the young victims of the 1905 demonstrations. The program features works that occupy an important place in Janacek's piano oeuvre, such as the "Piano Sonata," which reflects his "lament" and "denial" of the loss of young people due to the turmoil of the 1905 demonstration.
