Her first release on the Genuin label, "Composers and Language," explores the relationship between composer and language, featuring composers who have written works inspired by literature, poetry, and storytelling.The orchestra has recorded world premieres of iconic works inspired by literature, such as Ravel's "Gaspar at Night" and Schubert's "Swan Song," and Prokofiev's "Cinderella," which evokes the connection between sound and words, as well as works by two female composers with ties to Luxembourg, the Creator's home country. Greek composer Constantia Gruzi's "Ithaca" was commissioned by the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra and was inspired by the Greek poet Constantine Cavafy's poem of the same name. Catherine Koncz is one of Luxembourg's leading composers and a professor at the Royal College of Music in London.
