Trio Alterna, a young trio led by Takahiko Sakamaki, a keyboardist living in Germany, presents its first recording of Beethoven's piano trios. Trio Alterna won the "Beethoven in his time" chamber music competition for ancient instruments held in Siegburg, Germany in 2021 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Beethoven's birth, and in addition to the second prize, received the "Beethoven House Prize" for the best interpretation of Beethoven's works. His interpretation of Beethoven's music is well known. Takahiko Sakamaki is a young performer who studied at the University of Music and Dance Cologne and has performed in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, and other countries. Tokyo M-Plus
