Description:

From Franz Danzi (1763-1826), a classical composer who left several excellent woodwind quintets, to Luciano Berio's work Number Zoo (also known for its narration while the players play), the quintet is highly enjoyable in both its original and arranged works. The Acerga Quintet was formed in 2012 and made a name for themselves two years later when they won third prize (no first prize) in the woodwind quintet category of the ARD International Music Competition (Munich International Music Competition) in 2014. They already recorded a collection of works by Bohemian composers for GENUIN in 2016, and four years later, the Aselga Quintet's performance clearly shows that they are rising to the highest peak of woodwind quintets.
