This is a collection of works for horn by Norwegian composer Trygve Madsen (1940-). All are in a very romantic style. Rhinoceros Dream is a solo horn piece, and Little Hunt is a small piece for two horns and string quartet, with quotations from famous pieces in the middle. Christoph Ess is the principal horn player of the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra. He is also a friend of Madsen. Tobu Land System
