Vocalist/drummer Jeramie Kling (OVERKILL, ex-VENOM INC., ex-MASSACRE), guitarist Taylor Nordberg (DEICIDE, UMBILICUS, ex-MASSACRE), and bassist Terry Butler (OBITUARY, ex-DEATH, ex-SIXFEETUNDER, ex-MASSACRE). This 2023 EP by INHUMANCONDITION—a band deeply rooted in the classic Florida death metal tradition—is being reissued by HIGHROLLER. This release features three new tracks, a cover of BLUE OYSTER CULT’s “Godzilla,” and live recordings. As with their previous albums, the style is heavily influenced by classic Florida death metal. Centered around sharp, heavy guitar riffs, the songs are characterized by a combination of mid-tempo, heavy grooves and fast-paced sections, with tight rhythm work driving the tracks forward with power. The vocals are unified by a low, powerful death growl, adding a ferocious tension to the entire album. Despite the riff-driven, straightforward song structures, the clever placement of memorable phrases and hooks ensures the album leaves a strong impact despite its short running time. Furthermore, the included live recordings stand out for their raw, unpolished performance and visceral sound—a stark contrast to the studio tracks—creating a sense of immediacy that feels like the band’s intense stage performance has been captured in its purest form. Though compact, this EP presents the band’s aggressive death metal from both studio and live perspectives.
