PARADOX, who garnered attention as a leading figure of the "Second Wave of German Thrash," will see their 1989 second album reissued in October 2025 by HIGHROLLER, remastered and restored by Patrick W. Engel at Temple of Disharmony. This album builds on that momentum and has long been regarded as a classic of speed/thrash metal. While building on the high-speed thrash foundation of their debut, the album stands out for its more intricate and dramatic compositions. In tracks like “Search for Perfection” and “Killtime,” which race forward on the back of razor-sharp riffs, tight rhythms and razor-sharp twin guitars powerfully drive the songs.
