The Mars Volta
Description:
The MARS VOLTA is a musical collective consisting of Omar Rodriguez Lopez and Cedric Bixler Zavala, who are firmly popular for their chaotic song structures and spectacular playability that could be described as chaotic progressive. Their long-awaited return with a new album, "THE MARS VOLTA," their first studio album in about 10 years--is the result of their long-awaited return. The acoustic album "QUE DIOS TE MALDIGA MI CORAZON" is completed, tracing the melodies and rhythms of the original album, tracing the roots of traditional Caribbean music, and shedding a whole new light on the songs! Mars Volta is a musical collective consisting of Omar Rodriguez Lopez and Cedric Bixler Zavala, who are firmly popular for their chaotic song structures and spectacular playability that could be described as chaotic progressive. Emo/screamo, metal, progressive, Latin, salsa, dub... they mix all the musical styles that exist in the world and multiply them with superb improvisation to create a sound that is full of unexplainable exuberance and spectacular experimentation. After releasing their sixth album "NOCTOURNIQUET" in 2012, the band disbanded in 2013 when Cedric Bixler Zavala announced his departure. However, the two soon joined forces and have been touring and doing recording sessions as new projects ANTEMASQUE and At the Drive-In.In recent years, there have been numerous whispers of a Mars Volta reunion, and following the release of the luxury box set "LA REALIDAD DE LOS SUENOS" in 2021 to sum up their career, the band announced their reunion in June of this year through the art installation "L'ytome Hodorxi Telesterion The reunion was announced through the art installation "L'ytome Hodorxi Telesterion" in June of this year. With the simultaneous release of the new song "Blacklight Shine" and a North American tour, expectations for a new album were rising quickly, and the announcement of a reunion album was made. (1/2)
