DanceGavinDance’s debut album (released in 2007) is finally getting a long-awaited vinyl reissue! This album follows the band’s debut EP, *WhateverISayIsRoyalOcean*, released the previous year, and its title is derived from Battle Mountain, an unincorporated community in Nevada that the band visited. The album was produced by Kris Crummett, who would go on to produce many of the band’s subsequent studio releases. This is the first of two studio albums featuring clean vocalist Jonny Craig. He left the band in late 2007 but returned in mid-2010. This album is also the only full-length album to feature guitarist Sean O’Sullivan, who also left the band in late 2007. Although not a direct sequel to this album, *Downtown Battle Mountain II* was released in 2011 as a follow-up that continues in the same vein. ★LP Eco-Black Vinyl (EcoRecord is the next-generation analog record (LP). It is designed to deliver superior sound quality while significantly reducing its environmental impact. By using PET (polyethylene terephthalate) instead of conventional PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and overhauling the entire manufacturing process, EcoRecord delivers high-quality sound while reducing its carbon footprint to a measurable degree.)
