Description:
The fifth album that changed the attitude of Rolling Stone, which has been criticized harshly in the past! This album incorporates elements of progressive rock and symphony, and has been called the peak of the band's creativity. Originally released on Vertigo Records in November 1973. "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath". Released in 1973, "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" began to accomplish what the Birmingham metal maestros had failed to do on the four albums they had released in the previous three years. The album began to receive high praise from reviewers. Up until that point, music critics had been unfavorably impressed with the raw, raucous honesty of Black Sabbath's music. Lester Bangs of Rolling Stone magazine was particularly scathing, calling the band's debut album "like Cream, but inferior to them! He harshly criticized it as. Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" was released on December 1, 1973. Rolling Stone, which had not previously given the album any credit, immediately called it "a brilliant take on the problem" and "what can only be described as a complete success. The album charted at #4 in the U.K. and #11 in the U.S., where it would later achieve platinum sales. The album showed that despite the band's retreat from musical boundaries, they had lost none of their aggression, as evidenced by the opening track, a guitar riff that shattered something. A National Acrobat' and 'Sabbra Cadabra' (featuring Yes keyboardist Rick Wakeman, famously covered by Metallica 25 years later) are both heavy and powerful tracks, while 'Killing Yourself To Live' and the science fiction-themed 'Spiral Architect' are further acclaimed as the band's best tracks. And even if the excellent title track was mysteriously not part of the band's live set at the time, the gentle acoustic guitar work of 'Fluff' can still be heard as fans leave the Black Sabbath gig in droves. . It is no wonder that some people claim that "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" is the best album ever recorded by the best lineup. This is an album that exudes class from start to finish. Package: Digi-sleeve with double-sided sleeve.
