This album was released amidst great sadness, as the band had to cancel their entire European tour following the death of band member Ryan Hsu in June 2011, just before the album's release, and it became the band's first album to reach No. 1 on the Australian album chart.The songs are very dramatic, with a fast-paced, fast-developing sound based on a royal metalcore sound. The preceding single (2) features a beautiful contrast between clean and unclean vocals, and the intense breakdown exchanges are a knockout. With each new release, the band continues to evolve, making them one of the best in the new generation metalcore scene.
