Tommy Fortman (vo), who has been providing music to British and European artists since the 60's and is still active as a leading figure in the genre-bending music scene in Switzerland, is the core of this Swiss art/progressive rock band formed in the late 60's by Stephen Nuesch (organ), Claude Thoman (dr) and others. The compilation of two studio albums, "ANNO 1972" (1972) and "WRITTEN IN THE SKY" (1973), released by the Swiss art/progressive rock band formed in the late 60's, is now available on the Lost Music label in Germany in '22! Both albums are keyboard rock with organ as the main instrument, but the '72 album has a mystical and classical symphonic sound using various keyboard instruments such as piano, synth, mellotron, etc. The '73 album has a blues-rock influence while continuing the symphonic sound. The '73 album is a great work that is hard to compare with the '72 album, which has a mystical and classical symphonic sound using a variety of keyboard instruments such as the keytron, and the '73 album, which has been improved in terms of both songs and album structure.Both have been out of print for a long time, so this is a welcome reissue! The masters were newly remastered by Dieter Wegner based on the original master tapes. ANNO 1972" contains only four excerpts: 'Story Demon Thor', 'Israel', 'Ant Hill', and 'The Army'.
