Pantha du Prince (Bantha Düsseldorf) is a composer/producer from Germany who has been creating his own conceptual art in the electro/ambient scene. Pantha du Prince (real name: Hendrik Weber) is a German composer/producer who has been creating his own conceptual art in the electro/ambient scene of the 2000's. He released "nowhere" in 2002, followed by a full-length album on the German label Dial in 2004. He released his first full-length album "Diamond Daze" on the German label Dial in 2002, followed by his second album "This Bliss" and "Black Noise" on Rough Trade in 2010, both of which garnered critical acclaim.Since then, he has been involved in various collaborative projects such as Pantha du Prince & The Bell Laboratory with Norwegian composer Lars Petter Hagen, Ursprung with Stephan Abry from the kraut electronica group Workshop, as well as the band project The Triad and a remix project with classical composer Arash Safaian. Pantha du Prince has been working on the theme of "human=nature" for about 10 years since 2012.Under this concept, he has released the album "ELEMENTS OF LIGHT" recorded with The Bell Laboratory in 2012 and "CONFERENCE OF TREES", a solo project in 2020, to which he has added a new album. GARDEN GAIA" is the latest chapter in a 10-year project that he has created after reaching his artistic peak. Some scholars say that we humans are a folded ocean. My music is about raising consciousness, expressing the reality of life and the lost paradise by means of music. It is about entering a space of freedom and developing maximum openness and sensitivity to my body, my mental state, and the air around me. It is about mindfulness and a high awareness of what is happening around you and within you. I have put all of these experiences into "Garden Gaia" as music. This is "pouring" in the literal sense of the word, since we are part of the process that flows on this planet.Trees flow into the air, just as we are connected to other trees in the ground by a stream of communication. Our lungs flow into our bodies. And when we were in the womb, we were flowing beings. The question is, how far can we, as adults, continue to flow?" So says Pantha du Prince about his latest work. And with the nine new songs on his latest release, he has once again expanded his electro-acoustic musical vocabulary by collaborating with other artists. (1/2)
