Julian Lennon, son of John Lennon, is a Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter, photographer, author, and philanthropist. He is releasing his first studio album in about 11 years. The title of this album, his seventh in total, is "JUDE. It is a tribute to the Beatles' classic song "Hey Jude. It is a well-known story that the song was originally written by Paul McCartney to comfort Julian, who was 5 years old at the time when his parents separated.Although "Hey Jude," which spent 19 weeks at number one on the charts and became one of the Beatles' most successful singles, is still a popular song at Paul McCartney shows, Julian says he has a love-hate relationship with the song, which recalls a time in his own life when he was never happy, but He is grateful for the support McCartney has shown through his lyrics and feels that over time it has become a part of his identity. And it seems that the upcoming release of "JUDE" will also become part of Julien's identity. Many of the songs on the album were written over the course of several years, so it's like a growth story," he says of the album. Recently, Julian performed his father John Lennon's "Imagine" with Nuno Bettencourt as part of a social networking campaign launched by Global Citizen to call for support for Ukraine (incidentally, this is the first time he has performed the song in public). "JUDE" may be a "personal novel" depicting Julien Lennon's current state, which he has arrived at through various experiences, while respecting the timeless masterpieces.
