Description:

Suede, one of the leading UK rock bands of the 90's, has arrived at a new "origin" after the trilogy of the 2010's. The band has completed their 9th studio album "AUTOFICTION", which was produced again by Ed Buller, a close friend of the band. The band has completed its ninth studio album "AUTOFICTION," produced by Swede's ally Ed Buller. Swede, one of the leading UK rock bands of the 90's, has announced the worldwide release of their ninth studio album "Audofiction" on September 16 this year! Recorded live at Konk Studios in North London with Ed Buller, a longtime collaborator and friend who produced their debut single "The Drowners," which marks their 30th anniversary. After the Manchester indie dance movement of 1989-90, on the eve of Britpop, the Swades quickly gained attention for their bewitching appearance and aesthetic rock sound. In 1992, she made her debut with the EP "Drowners", which attracted a lot of attention with its radical lyrics and shocking performance. The band's sensational debut album, their first album "Suede", reached #1 in the UK and was selected for the 1993 Mercury Prize. After Bernard Butler (G), one of the original members, left the band, a new guitarist, Richard Oakes, and a keyboardist, Neil Codling, joined the band in 1996, bringing the band to its current (as of 2022) lineup. After releasing a total of five original albums, the band announced a hiatus in 2003, with each member pursuing their own solo and other activities. 2010 saw the band reunite for their first release in 10 years, "Bloodsports" (2013), "Night Thoughts ) (2016), and The Blue Hour (2018), a trilogy. The trilogy was a new and diverse body of work for the band. The previous album, "The Blue Hour," was produced by Alan Moulder, and now the band has teamed up with Ed again. In a sense, Suede is in the same place they were when they started 30 years ago. Writing and rehearsing for this album was truly a physical thrill," says bassist Matt Osman. Autofiction is also one of Brett's most personal works. Reflecting on the process of writing his acclaimed memoirs Coal Black Mornings and Afternoons With The Blinds Drawn, Brett has taken a fresh look at himself as a public singer, much of which is reflected in Autofiction's The first single, "She Still Leads Me On," is a reimagining of what the album could have been, a beautiful song from Brett to his late mother. Autofiction" is our punk record. No whistles, no bells. It's just the five of us getting together and embracing all the glitches and failures, and the band exposing all that primal mess."
