After a long period of American orientation, Saxon returned to their native England to record "Destiny", which is now available with six bonus tracks! SAXON, the NWOBHM band that has long been blasting forward on the path of heavy metal in a single-minded, manly, hard-hitting manner, has released five UK Top 40 albums and four UK Top 20 singles from their self-titled debut in 1979 to their latest album, "INSPIRATIONS", released this year. The band has released five UK Top 40 albums and four UK Top 20 singles between 1979 and 1988, and is now releasing their early work in an expanded edition with a number of fascinating new bonus tracks.Released in 1988, DESTINY was one of Saxon's first albums to return to his native England and record at the Hook And Manor studio in the Berkshires, after a long period of American orientation. It was produced by Stephan Galfas. The opening track is a "Wheels Of Steel"-style cover of Christopher Cross' classic "The Wind Rises," a song that Biff himself is a fan of. Bonus tracks include six live tracks from the B-side of the single, a monitor mix, and a 12-inch mix.
