A masterpiece is back - "IN IT FOR THE MONEY", the second album and masterpiece of Supergrass from Oxford, who became popular in the Brit-pop scene in the 1990s with their catchy and pop guitar rock. MONEY" has been remastered and reissued! In addition to the original album material, this 3-CD expanded edition includes 43 additional outtakes and live versions of single B-sides, including many previously unreleased tracks. Supergrass from Oxford, who became a household name in the Brit Pop scene in the 1990s with their catchy pop guitar rock, have released 6 top 10 albums in the UK and 10 top 20 singles in the U.S., and have been featured in BRIT Awards, Q Magazine Awards, NME Awards, and the Iver Novello Awards, they announced their breakup in 2010 and have since been active as solo artists and supporting members. In 2019, they reunite for the first time in over a decade to make a surprise appearance at the Pilton Party, an event hosted by the Glastonbury Festival. They wowed the audience with a Greatest Hits-like setlist, and they also reunited for a UK and European reunion tour the following spring of 2020. They then toured the U.S. and Australia, and were scheduled to perform at a number of festivals in the summer, but were cancelled due to the spread of the new coronavirus. Supergrass' second studio album, "IN IT FOR THE MONEY," was praised by Q Magazine in a perfect review as "their first full-length masterpiece," and is now back with the latest remastered soundtrack.The 3-CD "Expanded Edition" includes the original album remastered from the original analog master tapes on CD1, a collection of rare tracks including demo versions of single B-sides, early versions of album tracks, outtakes, and other previously unreleased material on CD2, and many previously unreleased live recordings on CD3. CD2 contains a collection of rare tracks including demo versions of single B-sides, early versions of album tracks, outtakes, etc., and CD3 contains many unreleased live recordings. The booklet also features newly written liner notes by Charles Shaar Murray and photographs by Kevin Westernberg. The album was supervised and remastered by the band members themselves. (1/2)
