Since the '60s, he has been active as a member of Adam Faith & The Roulettes, as the frontman of Agents, and since then as a solo artist, and in 2015, he released his 10th solo album, "IT' S GOOD TO BE HERE", his tenth solo album, which was released only as a digital download on UMU MUSIC in 2015, will be re-released with new songs. According to him, he has been asked since the original release in 2015 whether he would release a CD - and now the long-awaited first CD release has come to fruition. Many of the songs from the original album are included as is, but a few have been newly reworked and four additional bonus tracks have been added.These include "New York Groove," known by Hello, Ace Frehley, and Sweet, "Since You Been Gone" by Rainbow, "You Can Do Magic" by America, and other songs he has provided to other artists, which he has arranged and recorded himself in new arrangements. The album also includes a self cover of a song he recorded himself with a new arrangement of a song he had provided to other artists. The lead track from the album is "Kickin' The Can". It is a bluesy rock number that reminds us once again that he is not only a songwriter but also a guitarist. The artwork also features Russ with his guitar.
