CHASE ATLANTIC is an Australian alternative city pop trio discovered by Joel & Benji of Good Charlotte. Since their formation in 2011, Chase Atlantic has been creating their own dark alternative city pop with strong R&B and rock influences. They have been active in their hometown of Australia since their teenage years, and have been gaining attention on social networking sites and the internet with numerous headline tours in their hometown, the release of two indie EPs, and the single "Friends" which has received 8 million plays on Spotify, an impressive number for an indie artist. Since their teenage years, the band has been aiming to make their mark on the world stage. Their enthusiasm and passion caught the antennae of Good Charlotte's Joel & Benji in 2015. After numerous meetings in Australia, Chase Atlantic signed with the Madden brothers' music company, MDDN, which also handles management. In 2018, they released their full debut album on Warner Bros. They have already completed a new album.After releasing the EP "DON'T TRY THIS" in January of this year, the release of "PHASES" comes amidst high expectations amongst fans. The reason we made this album is because we wanted to drastically change the way we look at pop culture and the way it is consumed," says lead vocalist Mitchell, who has been a member of Chase Atlantic since the band's inception. Chase Atlantic has always been about unique and complex music with high quality sound," says lead vocalist Mitchell. We have blended many genres and aesthetics to create our own nightly pleasures. The lead single, "HER," is a dark love song of insatiable longing. The 12 songs on the album, including "Stuckinmybrain," "Angels," and "Heaven and Back," all have similar soundscapes, but this is not a sign of negativity. This "Kintaro-ame" sound creates one big swell of sound, and keeps the listener glued to the emo, high-energy sonic roller coaster that is "PHASES".The band's sound is a blend of alternative pop, electro, R&B, and other musical elements, creating a moody yet stylish Chase Atlantic sound. In just a few short months, we've been able to create a new sound that we've never reached before," said Chase. Chase Atlantic has succeeded in creating a world of its own. It's the beginning of a new era," says Mitchell.
