Marco Gluhmann, vocalist of the veteran German symphonic/melodic rock band SYLVAN, has released his first solo album on the German label Gentle Art Of Music in 2012. The album is supported by Johnny Beck (g), who is also a member of SYLVAN, Kalle Wallner (g/b), Yogi Lang (key), Markus Grutzner (b), and Tommy Eberhardt (drs), who is a former member of BLIND EGO, and other related musicians. Tommy Eberhardt (drs), former BLIND EGO member.While maintaining the realistic and melancholic sound world typical of SYLVAN/RPWL, the backing arrangements are kept to a minimum, and more emphasis is placed on Marco's emotional vocals, which directly reflect his personal feelings, and the excellent harmonies created by the multiple recordings. The album is a high-quality melodic rock album with hooky vocal lines that leave a lasting impression throughout.While SYLVAN is a band that delivers a fast-paced, dynamic sound, MARILLION's Steve Rothery (g) appears on "My Eyes Are Wide Open" and Billy Sherwood (choir) of current YES appears on "Hear Our Voice" as a guest, Steve Rothery (g) of MARILLION guests on "My Eyes Are Wide Open" and Billy Sherwood (choir) of the current YES on "Hear Our Voice".
