The only album by DAKILA, a band formed by Filipino immigrants in San Francisco, is being reissued on LP/CD to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its release! DAKILA (meaning "greatness" in Filipino) was formed in the musical crucible of San Francisco in the late 1960s. Although they have only released one album, they are highly regarded among garage, psychedelic, and rare groove listeners for their musicality that combines Latin rock, psychedelic, acid rock, Afro, and funk. The band's only album is now being reissued on LP/CD to commemorate the 50th anniversary of its release! The original version was actually pitched up by the producer against the band's wishes, but this reissue has been corrected to the correct pitch and reissued. This is the first official reissue on LP, so don't miss it! (From the manufacturer's information)
