Bach once served as cantor. The five members, whose exceptional vocal skills were honed during their time at St. Thomas Church, have earned immense acclaim for their versatility in performing a wide repertoire—ranging from medieval and Renaissance, Baroque, modern, and pop arrangements—have earned them immense acclaim, and they have been winning prestigious European music awards one after another, including the 2013 ICMA Award and the 2012 ECHO Award. Ensemble Amacord performs a five-part a cappella collection of folk songs from the five continents: Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa, and Oceania!
