The greatest guitar hero of all time = Slash Live at the S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival" (CD+DVD), a complete live recording from the Blues Fest tour he curated. Slash, one of the greatest guitar heroes of our time, released a covers album "Aussie of the Damned" last year, which revisited his own musical roots. With the album in tow, Slash curated the "S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival," a festival-style tour of blues artists, which took place last summer. This album is a complete recording of Slash's live performance in Colorado on July 17, 2012. The album features the main members who participated in the recording of the album, and includes covers of Bob Dylan's "Sadness is Endless" and Jimi Hendrix's "Stone Free," which were not included on the album.S.E.R.P.E.N.T." is an acronym for Slash's philosophy of the festival: Solidarity, Engagement, Restore, Peace, Equality N' Tolerance. The DVD includes full footage of the show and a documentary featuring an interview with Slash, providing a deeper look into the band's musical origins.
