Luxembourg Philharmonic Principal Trumpet and Organ in Residence! Hungarian trumpet player Ardam Liksell and Maurice Clément, "Organist in Residence" of the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, present an album of modern and contemporary works for trumpet and organ. The album title, "Spiritual Quest," was composed especially for this recording by the young Spanish composer Iván Baumáns, and is an ambitious work that brings out the songful melodies and brilliant passages of the trumpet and the possibilities offered by the organ's diverse timbres. The work is an ambitious work that brings out the best in each of them. Ardam Rixell studied with György Geiger at the Franz Liszt School of Music and with Reinhold Friedrich, one of the greatest trumpet players of our time, at the Karlsruhe College of Music, and won second prize at the International Trumpet Competition held in Hungary. He has studied as a trumpet player with the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Budapest Festival Orchestra under the prodigious Ivan Fischer, and has been the principal trumpet player of the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra since 1999.
