The violin and cello are more like soloists in a concerto than obbligato. The first three pieces are religious in nature, with the chorus symbolizing "humans" and the violin and cello symbolizing "God," and depict a dialogue and contact with God (touches).The fourth track is a "landscape of the natural world" with a chorus of vocals without lyrics, while the violin and cello seem to depict "the breath of God. This is an album of religious music with a new appearance to be quietly savored. Matthias Jung was born in Magdeburg in 1963. He studied voice and conducting at Weimar College of Music. He founded the Weimar Vocal Consort, which won many international competitions, and in 1991 became the leader of the Dresden Holy Cross Choir, acting music director of the choir from 1994 to 1996. Violinist Alexandra Smu, born in Moscow in 1989, moved with her family to France when she was 2. She began playing the violin at age 5 under her father's tutelage, and at age 7 gave her first concert in the Ukraine. He then moved to Vienna, where he studied with Boris Kushnir. In 2004, she won the first prize at the Eurovision Competition in Lucerne. He is currently based in France. Cellist Isan Enders was born in Frankfurt in 1988.At the age of 12, he studied with Michael Sanderling. At the age of 20, he was appointed principal cellist of the Staatskapelle Dresden. As a soloist, he has performed with major European orchestras. He has performed with renowned conductors such as Chung Mun-Hoon, Eschenbach, Inbal, Mehta, and Petrenko. As a member of the Sitkovetsky Piano Trio, he is also active in the field of chamber music. (Tobu Shoji)
