Organist Ella, a native of Hungary, served as artistic director of the Baroque orchestra “Corelli Chamber Orchestra” from 1976 to 1986. She was awarded the Franz Liszt Prize by Hungary in 1999 and was knighted in 2007. This is a crisp performance of Reger’s music that evokes the clear Alpine air.
