Schneider’s *Vivaldissimo* adopts the harmonic style of Vivaldi’s era while crafting a modern, pop-inspired piece—a style reminiscent of Michael Nyman. França’s suite based on *The Revelation of St. John* is a work one rarely has the opportunity to hear, but it is a moving piece brimming with a solemn resonance, like light streaming through a church’s stained-glass windows.
