Consort songs, fantasias, and dance pieces by William Byrd and the composers who followed him are brought to life in a richly colored performance by renowned early music singers Dorothee Mills and Magdalene Haller, alongside the Boreas Quartet Bremen, the Hathor Consort, and Ryu Sakamoto. We present the music of England’s Golden Age through exquisite performances. Their debut album, *“The Bazevi Manuscript” – Court Music of Princess Margaret of Austria* (AU-97783), which won the prestigious International Classical Music Award (ICMA) in 2022, the German recorder quartet Boreas Quartet Bremen, formed in 2009, has also been highly acclaimed for their album *Between Spheres: Polietti & Schönewolf* (AU-97784), which combines works by the early 17th-century composer Alessandro Polietti and the contemporary composer Markus Schönewolf.
