From Germany’s BureauB comes the long-awaited reissue of Ose’s *Adonia*, a hidden gem of French electronic/progressive music originally released in 1978. Herve Picart, the central figure of Ose, was 26 years old at the time. While a researcher in rhetoric and linguistics, he was also a journalist for the music magazine *Best* and a guitarist and bassist performing in progressive rock bands. Gradually moving away from the influence of British progressive rock and becoming increasingly drawn to synthesizers and keyboards, he uniquely fused the ethereal quality of Pink Floyd, the cosmic electronic sounds of Tangerine Dream, and the minimalist mechanical precision of Kraftwerk. This album vividly brings that vision to fruition. A little-known masterpiece of 1970s European electronic music, where fantasy and experimental spirit coexist!
