The Lambach Abbey in Austria, built in 1056, is known as a place that preserves a lot of precious music from the 1700s, and the composer Weichlein, who has recently become famous, was a member of this abbey. Weichlein was a member of this monastery. The two composers featured on this album are also associated with Lambach Abbey, and Hofreiter was a pupil of Biber. The Mass is a huge piece of music with clear chorus and organ, vivid brass instruments, heavy strings, and many voices intertwined with each other.
