With Milan Mirozicik joining as the new violist, the Minetti Quartet’s fresh and spirited performances have been further refined, offering listeners an ensemble where the instruments interact dynamically. The Minetti Quartet is an up-and-coming young ensemble formed in 2003. They studied under members of the Alban Berg Quartet at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and are a highly accomplished group with a distinguished record of awards, including first prize at the Franz Schubert International String Quartet Competition in Graz in 2006. The Minetti Quartet toured the world as part of Echo Klassik’s “Rising Star Series” during the 2008–2009 season, where they were met with great acclaim.
