Description:
Electronic music legend Morton Sabotnick Nonesuch's Nonesuch vinyl is now available on CD on the WERGO label! Electronic music legend Sabotonik's Nonesuch LP release is back on CD under the WERGO label (licensed). Sabotnik played an innovative role in works that combined instruments with other media. The album consists of excerpts from the symphonic poem "Music for the Double Life of Amphibians," in which Sabotnik says that "amphibians" is a metaphor for the fact that we have a past and a future, or the hearts of beasts and angels, just as a frog lives underwater and in the air. The audience will enjoy Sabotnik's unique world of electronic ghost scores (using tapes of sounds accompanied by some kind of movement (gesture), such as a pendulum swinging from side to side, the sound of something passing by, or a pulse sound of acceleration) and live instruments.
