Description:

The band was formed in '75 by Janez Boncina Benc (vo/g) and Tihomir Pop Asanovic (org), who had been active in the former Yugoslavia Rock/Jazz scene since the 60's with TIME/JUGOSLAVENSKA POP SELEKCIJA etc. The band is a Slovenian Jazz Rock/Crossover band. The band was formed in '75 by Tihomir Pop Asanovic (org), who was active in the jazz rock and jazz scene in the former Yugoslavia and Slovenia, and their last album was released on RTV Ljubljana in Yugoslavia. After the release of the last album, Karel Novak Carli (b), Ratko Divjak (drs) and Petar Ugrin (vln) left the band in 1977 to join the RTV Ljubljana Dance Orchestra, and were replaced by new members of the beat rock band Marjan Malikovic (g), Jadran Ogrin (b), and Nelfi Depangher (drs), who had been playing in the beat-rock band KAMELEONI, joined the band newly. This album was recorded in a studio in Florida during a North American tour in 1978, and perhaps due to the environment and the departure of the violinist, the influences of North American crossover groups such as Return to Forever, AOR, and mainstream music are more apparent than on the previous album, while the rock idiom is used to create a sound with a touch of color. The sound is characterized by a light touch with rock idioms. From 'Cudna Vremena (Summer Winds)', which shows listeners the potential of the newly formed band with its melancholy vocals, full instrumental parts in a hard rock style, and Marjan's long guitar solo, to the chugging, rumbling, light and percussive rhythm section and bouncing bass, the album is a joy to listen to. The album boasts a rich variety of contents based on a technical crossover sound, from 'Cudna Vremena (Summer Winds)', a track that shows listeners the band's potential, to 'Domovino moja (Music My Music)', a disco - Latin funk classic that creates a comfortable groove with its chugging percussive rhythm section and bouncing bass, all of which are as perfect as their first album. The master is Martin Zvelc. The master was newly remastered by Martin Zvelc.
