Born and raised in Kyoto, Madoka Fukami has had a special attachment to French music since she was a child, attending the Kyoto French Music Academy in junior high school, winning the Jean Francais International Music Competition while a student at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, and then going to Paris to study on her own. Madoka Fukami has a special attachment to French music. Madoka Fukami was born and raised in Kyoto, Japan. After graduating from the Music High School attached to the Faculty of Music of Tokyo University of the Arts and the Faculty of Music of the same university, she received her master's degree in piano, ancient music, and chamber music from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris, where she graduated first in her class with unanimous approval from the jury. He holds a conservatoire diploma from the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris. He was also artist-in-residence at the Queen Elisabeth University of Music in Belgium for three years at the recommendation of Abdel Rahman El-Basha.In 2015, he won the fifth prize in the piano category at the Ron Thibault Crespin International Competition and was awarded the prize for best Ravel work performance. He was also a finalist in the 2017 Busoni International Competition, where he won the prize for Best Contemporary Music Work Performed.He specializes in a wide range of period repertoire and is highly acclaimed in France and other parts of Europe.
