This is intense! Francois Causse, a drummer/percussionist who played in PIERRE MOERLEN'S GONG in the old days and has played in many albums by Yochk'o Seffer/Faton Cahen including ZAO since 2000's. He is now Seffer's one hand man. This is the '22 release by Francois Causse, a drummer/percussionist who has played on many albums by Seffer/Faton Cahen. On this album, Seffer provides support, and Francois' percussion is a last resort, leaving room for improvisation without pre-programmed synth strings, brass, piano, or machine-played percussion, and Francois' percussion and Seffer's own percussion. The percussion and Seffer's high-tension piano/leads are the last bastion of the last remaining room for improvisation without prior preparation/composition. The serious and energetic sound that blurs the gap between improvisation and compose while maintaining a sense of speed is comparable to the highly acclaimed "SUGARZO TEREP" by NEFFESH MUSIC, and is a masterpiece of chamber jazz rock. This is a masterpiece that can be called one of the best of chamber jazz rock!
