The GECA Brass is a virtuoso ensemble of top European players, including the Berlin Philharmonic, Frankfurt Symphony Orchestra, Basel Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre National de France, Orchestre National de la Capitole de Toulouse, and Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo. This variable ensemble has been actively expanding its brass repertoire by commissioning new classical arrangements and new works by contemporary composers such as Marc Monet and Anthony Plogues. On this album, the ensemble performs important repertoire such as Copland's "Fanfares for Citizens," Tomasi's "Liturgical Fanfares," R.
