Beethoven and the Accordion A Miraculous Encounter Born in 1986 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of his birth, French accordionist Felicien Brûl is a well-known name at the Forgeurne Music Festival and other festivals. As a project for Beethoven, the theme of the festival's 2020 program, she thought about what she could do with the accordion and commissioned nine composers with different sensibilities to create new works using the characteristic elements of Beethoven's works.
