Domenico Scarlatti by Antaï The fifth volume of Scarlatti sonatas by the virtuoso Antaï was born in 1964, and his sense and technique are increasingly brilliant, and his performance, combined with MIRARE's brilliant recording, is of extreme colors and brilliant rhythms. Born in Naples in 1685, he gained experience in Naples and Venice (under Gasparini) before moving to Portugal in 1719 (as music teacher to Maria Magdalena Barbara, daughter of the king). At the time, his father Alessandro Scarlatti's name was so prominent that Domenico, although highly regarded as a virtuoso, was only recognized as a "composer. However, in Portugal, Domenico encountered a new culture. The collection includes interesting works such as K.547, which he dedicated to Rameau, who was then attracting attention for publishing a collection of harpsichord works. King International
