Dumay's long-awaited recording of Mozart's Symphony No. 29, Tatiana Vassilieva, a Russian female cellist who has been attracting attention for her outstanding technique and extraordinary musical sense, recorded the Haydn concerto with the Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonie in Belgium led by Augustin Dumay, who will serve as the principal conductor until 2013. with whom she recorded Haydn's concerto. Dumay will also record Mozart's Symphony No. 29, which has been Dumay's wish since his appointment with the Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonie. It is said that Haydn composed a total of six cello concertos, but due to loss and alleged forgeries, only the first two remain. No. 1 is a lively and youthful work, and Vasilieva delivers it with elongated singing and rich expressiveness.The second piece is a masterpiece with a superbly elegant atmosphere that fully brings out the charm of the cello. Vasilieva's generous bowing, as if enjoying Haydn's world, creates natural music. Mozart's Symphony No. 29 is a favorite of Dumay. It is said to be a work that broke away from the Italian style and skillfully used the Viennese style, and is as popular as No. 25 among the works of Mozart's teens, which combine lively and varied compositional techniques. The Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonie is able to show its full range of skills, and the performance is full of freshness and playfulness, and Mozart's music is as lively as a fish out of water.
