Description:
This work, which has been a long seller on record and CD since its initial release on the SOLSTICE label, has been remastered at 192 kHz/24 bit and released on short notice to support the rebuilding of Notre Dame Cathedral. The large organ miraculously survived, but as seen in the photo, the choral organ at the back of the cathedral suffered considerable damage. Of the cathedral's three rose windows, the stained glass window in the south rose window used on the jacket front seems to have survived. The CD also includes the bells of the north tower, the carillon that tells the time, and the bourdon, the largest bell in the cathedral (the bourdon seems to have survived). Regulus.
