The first album by Ibrahim Marlov, a trumpet player born in Beirut, Lebanon, and raised in Paris, with his powerful unit "Illusions", which includes three trumpets. The album is a sonic picture scroll that crosses borders between Arabic and Western music (jazz, ambient, electro, punk, metal), combining them organically and unfolding at will! Marloff has inherited his father's original 4-valve trumpet, and his music, which combines Arabic melodies and music with quarter tones (half-tone = quarter tone), resonates vividly in Japan, and has been enthusiastically supported by many audiences at Tokyo Jazz. The unit, which has been active since the release of its first album in 2007, has already solidified its concept, combining arabic music, jazz, ambient, electro, ambient, and western music.
