While the work is full of sparkling brightness and daring speed, each passage is handled with great care so as not to spoil the depth and emotion, and all the techniques that Bach wrote to the utmost beautifully emerge in the space. The performance of the "Mass in B minor," which includes a variety of pieces ranging from old-fashioned styles to light arias and magnificent fugues, with brilliant and poignant sounds, was performed with a mobility that seemed to go from one end to the other in an instant, flying in all directions, and yet with a natural composition and a broad vision that did not make one aware of any changes in scene.
