The best Bach performance and recording in B minor by Jacobs! Here comes the Mass in B minor by Jacobs! The orchestra is the Berlin Academy of Ancient Music and the chorus is the RIAS Chamber Choir. The chorus is composed of 5-7 singers in each part, and the chorus is composed of 5-7 singers in each part. The chorus consists of 5 to 7 singers per part, but in some parts the chorus consists of only 3 singers per part, which highlights the skill of the RIAS members and the charm of the music. The orchestration is also beautiful with its gorgeous sound in gloria and other gorgeous pieces, and the unexpected soft beauty of the recording is almost captivating. The orchestral prelude to "Laudamus Te" and "Cuoniam," which everyone listens to at concerts, are also unintentionally entrancing with the body of a concerto by a master musician. A lute is also used for the bass, and its effect in the Agnus Dei and other pieces is shockingly beautiful. In 1992, Jacobs recorded "B minor" with the RIAS Chamber Choir and the Berlin Academy of Ancient Music.In the booklet, Jacobs dedicates the performance to Eva Koutats, producer and president of Harmoniumundi, who passed away in January 2021, and to the label's founder, the late Bernard Koutats. The dedication to these two people, who always demanded the best from their performers and recordings, shows the pride that Jacobs took in this performance. This is a must-see! King International
